A Robin with a Colourful Bobble Hat to Hang Up

Robins are among the classic Christmas motifs in Britain. With their rounded bodies, orange-red breasts and thin little legs, they are absolutely adorable, and it is a real joy to spot them at the garden feeder in winter. No wonder, then, that they are so popular. You will hardly ever come across one wearing the classic wintry bobble hat, though. And so this absolutely enchanting robin with its colourful winter hat is sure to bring a smile to anyone who spots it in the winter decorations or on the Christmas tree. The 7 cm tall, 4.5 cm wide and 6.5 cm deep, cute robin by Nemesis Now was made – from its round shape to its colourful bobble hat – of polyresin and lovingly hand-painted. This little robin thus also makes an enchanting gift and therefore comes in a beautifully printed gift box.

Robin Tree Decoration with a British Christmas Tradition

The robin became a popular Christmas motif especially in Victorian Britain. One well-known explanation traces the connection back to the postmen of the time in their red uniforms, who were associated with the red-breasted birds and ultimately helped make robins popular on Christmas cards too. As a hand-painted hanging ornament, the little figure takes up this British Christmas tradition and brings it, as a playful tree decoration, to the Christmas tree, branches or Advent arrangements.
