Oil burners, incense holders and incense from a single source – every piece carrying gothic, Wicca and fantasy motifs that turn purely functional objects into standalone decorative pieces. Hand-painted cold-cast resin is the dominant material: finely detailed, durable and well suited to either function – on the altar, the shelf or the sideboard. Unlike neutral aromatherapy products, these pieces also work as full sculptures with their own character even without a burning tealight or smouldering incense stick.
Gothic Oil Burners heat fragrance oil over a tealight in an inset glass dish. The motifs – skull, Baphomet, Grim Reaper, Nosferatu, witch's cauldron, dragons, wolves and Wicca symbols – turn the burner into a decorative object with dual function. Several models are crafted entirely in ceramic, one hangs as a witch's cauldron from a metal frame. An Anne Stokes series combines dragon ceramic burners with seasonal Wicca themes such as Beltane or Mabon as ready-made gift sets including fragrance wax. Tealights are not included with most models.
Gothic Incense Holders form the largest part of the range – from pared-back elongated incense stick holders through to elaborate backflow sculptures, where the smoke flows visibly downwards and creates a mist effect along the figure. Motifs run from Reaper, Baphomet, skeleton and plague doctor through dragon, gargoyle, Ent and Green Man to pentagrams, lunar phases and wolves. Alongside these come licensed pieces such as a Dark Souls III backflow holder. The mist effect requires special backflow incense cones with a central bore – standard cones or sticks won't produce it.
Incense with gothic and Wicca fragrances such as dragon's blood, black magic, patchouli, sandalwood, white sage, lavender and pagan magic round out the range. Single packs of 20 sticks are available from under €3. Alongside these come multi-pack gift sets by Lisa Parker and Anne Stokes as well as backflow cones by Satya in various fragrance notes. Some entry-level sets combine sticks directly with a small holder.

What's the difference between an oil burner and an incense holder?
An oil burner heats fragrance oil or fragrance wax over a tealight in a glass dish – the scent disperses through evaporation, with no smoke produced. An incense holder takes incense sticks or cones, which produce smoke and fragrance as they burn. Both methods combine well in practice.
What are backflow incense holders and how do they work?
Backflow incense holders are designed for special backflow incense cones with a central bore. The smoke flows downwards through this opening and creates a visible mist effect along the sculpture. Standard incense cones won't produce this effect.
Are tealights and incense supplied?
For most oil burners and incense holders, no – tealights, incense sticks and cones are available separately. Exceptions include several backflow incense holders, which come with 1 to 3 cones, alongside Anne Stokes oil burner gift sets, which include fragrance wax.
Can I use an oil burner and incense holder at the same time?
Yes – oil burners and incense holders aren't mutually exclusive. An oil burner spreads fragrance without smoke, an incense holder produces visible smoke with fragrance. Anyone combining both should ensure adequate ventilation, since incense smoke can accumulate in poorly ventilated rooms.
