Art Nouveau figurines, bowls and accessories
Art Nouveau – known in the German-speaking world as Jugendstil – shaped European art and design history around the turn of the 19th to the 20th century. Characteristic are flowing organic forms, nature motifs such as blossoms and tendrils alongside the depiction of women with flowing hair as a stylised ideal of beauty. The range picks up this visual language: bronzed and coloured Art Nouveau bowls with female figures in various poses form the core of the category.
Rounding out the bowls come bridal figurines in Art Nouveau style, a tealight holder in the form of a woman in a gondola, an hourglass with winged lions alongside Art Deco bookends and a Baroque candle holder.
