Norsemen, gods and Norse symbols

The Vikings shaped large parts of Europe between roughly 800 and 1050 AD as seafarers, warriors and traders. As decor, they appear within two principal motif groups: historically inspired warriors with axe, sword, spear and shield as well as figures from Norse mythology such as Odin, Thor, Freya and the Valkyries. Both worlds combine within a range that covers figurines, busts, goblets, wall reliefs, tealight holders, chess pieces and jewellery.

Viking Figurines show warriors, berserkers, riders and Norse gods as bronzed and hand-painted standing figures. Viking Busts depict Odin, Thor, Loki and Valkyries as finely detailed bust pieces. Viking Accessories cover goblets and tankards with stainless-steel insert, wall reliefs, tealight holders, chess piece sets, jewellery and rune sets with Norse symbols such as Vegvisir, Mjölnir, longships and Yggdrasil.

Frequently asked questions about Viking decor

Which motifs feature within Viking decor?

Viking decor shows historical warriors with weapons and armour as well as figures from Norse mythology. Alongside these come symbols such as Vegvisir (the wayfinder sign), Mjölnir (Thor's hammer), the longship and Yggdrasil (the world tree), which appear on goblets, wall reliefs, tealight holders and jewellery.

What's the difference between Viking figurines and Viking busts?

Viking figurines show full depictions of warriors and gods as standing or mounted figures. Viking busts, by contrast, depict only the head and upper torso and accordingly emphasise facial features, helmet and armour detail particularly strongly. Both forms work as collector and decorative objects for shelf or display cabinet.

Which Norse gods appear within Viking decor?

Most strongly represented is Odin, father of the gods, across various figurines and busts. Alongside him appear Thor, Loki, Freya, Frigg, Tyr, Hel, Heimdall, Baldr and Valkyries. For anyone after Norse god figurines specifically, a dedicated selection sits under Norse God Figurines.
