A Green Guardian Dragon with Shield on the Box

From which mysterious treasure chamber might this very ancient-looking artefact come, watched over carefully by a green dragon? The attentive dragon holds his large shield firmly in his claws. This splendid object looks like an old, richly decorated coat of arms. Only when you lift off the lid with the dragon do you discover that beneath it there is a compartment 2.5 cm high, 5.5 cm wide and 9.5 cm deep, in which small treasures can be well hidden. The dragon guardian will see to their protection.

The impressively detailed trinket box with the green "Hoard Protector" is 13.5 cm tall, 8 cm wide and 12.5 cm deep. It is made of high-quality polyresin and has been artfully hand-painted. This splendid trinket box makes an extraordinary gift for dragon or knight lovers too. It is also wonderfully suited as packaging for a special present in its own right.

Between Dragon Hoard and Knight's Coat of Arms

The shield-bearing "Hoard Protector" combines two classic fantasy ideas: the dragon as the keeper of a treasure and the shield as a sign of protection and defence. The green colouring makes the guardian resemble a forest or emerald dragon, while the ornate box looks like a find from an old knights' chamber. In this way the trinket box gains a little story of its own, between dragon fantasy and medieval heraldic aesthetics.
