The CowParade figurine “Happy Birthday to Moo” as a joyful art piece

The CowParade is the world’s largest public art project. It began in Zurich in 1998 and continued in Chicago in 1999, before spreading to cities across the globe. More than 10,000 artists have since taken part, each giving their cow a unique artistic identity.

The original artworks are auctioned after each exhibition, with much of the proceeds supporting social projects. From this idea, CowParade collector figurines were created in various sizes.

“Happy Birthday to Moo”, designed by artists Juan Andreu and Mike Dowdall, was exhibited in West Hartford in 2003. The cheerful design features a birthday cake on the cow’s back, colourful dots and the playful inscription “Happy Birthday to Moo”.

Lovingly hand-painted and crafted from high-quality polyresin, this CowParade figurine measures 13 cm in height, 15.5 cm in width and 5.5 cm in depth. It comes with an artist information card and original CowParade packaging. Whether as a collector’s item or a birthday gift, this figurine brings humour, colour and art together.

A CowParade collector’s figurine with humour and heritage
