Three wise aliens down to earth

'Where in all the great universe have we landed now?' Looking a little puzzled, the three aliens – among the great wise ones back on their planet – sit firmly on solid ground. But one thing they do know: even on planet Earth it is probably better to see, hear and certainly say nothing evil. The three detailed and humorous wise aliens in this set are made from carefully hand-painted polyresin. They measure 7.5 - 8 cm high, 6.5 - 7 cm wide and 4 - 4.5 cm deep, and become an instant eye-catcher not only thanks to their ancient wisdom but also their bright green colour. For alien and science fiction fans, the three alien figurines also make a wonderful and telling gift, for example as decoration for the desk.

The Sanzaru motif in a galactic remake

The „see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" motif originates in Japan – the three monkeys Mizaru, Kikazaru and Iwazaru have adorned the Nikkō Tōshō-gū shrine since the 17th century and have been known worldwide as Sanzaru ever since. Translated onto green extraterrestrials, the old life wisdom takes on a pop-culture twist with a wink. The figurines work most strongly when arranged as a trio, yet they can also be split between several people – for instance when three colleagues or housemates are to be gifted together. A charming collector's idea for anyone who appreciates alien humour with a touch of philosophy.
