Medieval riders and historical warriors
The range shows mounted riders from various historical contexts: medieval knights with lance, sword or banner sit alongside a Japanese samurai on horseback and soldier figures from later eras. The figurines are hand-painted and fully sculpted in three dimensions – a form of execution that sets them apart from flat tin soldiers of the classic kind. The material allows for finely detailed work and lends the figurines a characteristic silvery shimmer.
