Thunder, Death and Return – A Norse Scene Cast in Bronze

Thor’s goats Tanngrisnir (“Teeth-Barer”) and Tanngnjóstr (“Teeth-Grinder”), also known as his divine steeds, were meant to pull his chariot. But in the Edda, it is told that Thor slaughtered them during his journeys and resurrected them from their bones using Mjölnir the next morning.

Thor is not only the god of thunder but also one of fertility and life cycles – and his goats symbolise death, sacrifice and eternal rebirth. This detailed Thor figurine from the Veronese Studio Collection captures that powerful moment: the reborn goats lie at his feet while he raises Mjölnir in divine might.

Measuring 30 cm tall, 17 cm wide and 15 cm deep, this bronzed and subtly coloured sculpture is crafted from high-quality polyresin. Impressive and refined, it makes a perfect gift for collectors, Norse mythology fans, and lovers of epic craftsmanship.
