Dark Romance in the Spirit of Poe's 'Nevermore'

Could this perhaps be the skull of E.A. Poe, upon which this raven has settled? Maybe the raven is hoping that, at the stroke of midnight, the skull will recite the poem of the Raven – 'Nevermore'... This fascinating skull figurine has been crafted in rich detail from carefully hand-painted polyresin. It measures 22 cm in height, 9.5 cm in width and 16.5 cm in depth, and brings a mystical breath of dark romance into any room.

Memento Mori as a Gothic Collector's Piece

The motif of skull and black raven belongs to the classic memento mori tradition of dark art and was firmly inscribed into literary Gothic tradition by Edgar Allan Poe's poem 'The Raven'. As Halloween décor, a dark accent on the bookshelf or as a gift for Gothic collectors and Poe enthusiasts, the raven figurine unfolds its sombre presence – a scene between mortality and literary shiver that finds its place in any dark art collector's display.
