The Pietà after Michelangelo as a White Motif of Mourning

In the style of one of the most famous works of art, the Pietà by Michelangelo, this beautiful white urn from Veronese's Studio Collection was designed. The still young Michelangelo had created the moving statue with the grieving Mary from the finest Carrara marble at the age of 23. It shows Mary as the Mater Dolorosa, who tenderly holds and gazes upon her son Jesus – just taken down from the cross and looking as though he were only sleeping deeply – in her lap. The great work of art can still be admired today in St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. It is the only sculpture that Michelangelo signed, translating as "Michelangelo Buonarroti of Florence made this". The inscription can be seen on the band across Mary's robe. This unique white urn by Veronese with the Pietà motif is made of high-quality polyresin. It is 19 cm tall, 17 cm wide and 13 cm deep. The round urn bears a cross framed by a laurel wreath and can hold approx. 900 ml of the ashes of a beloved companion through the 5 × 8 cm opening in the base that can be closed with a screw. This beautiful urn with the Pietà radiates an incredibly strong feeling, and one feels comforted by Mary's confidence and faith in the resurrection.

A White Pet Urn for a Dignified Place of Remembrance

Beside a framed photo, the collar or a small personal keepsake, the pet urn can become the centrepiece of a lovingly arranged place of remembrance. A few bright flowers or warm LED light create a calm setting, while the urn fits deliberately and with dignity into the personal memory of your animal companion on a sideboard or memorial shelf.
