A Knight Relief before Richly Decorated Archways

Knights with white surcoats and white cloaks over their armour, swords and shields in their hands, seem to step grandly from the archways between the richly decorated columns of a fortress on this magnificent medieval tankard. Red crosses on the white surcoats and on their white shields suggest that these could be Templar knights. The splendid medieval tankard is made of high-quality, carefully hand-painted polyresin and has a capacity of about 400 ml. The raised, refined knight motif in white, as well as the wonderfully decorated handle, make this artful tankard – 11.5 cm tall, 16 cm wide with the handle (10 cm without) and 10 cm deep – simply perfect for a festive knights' table.

This carefully hand-painted tankard is not dishwasher-safe, so it has a practical insert of fine stainless steel that can simply be taken out for hygienic cleaning. For a knightly friend and medieval fan, this splendid tankard also makes a stylish gift.

A Templar Motif with a Red Cross on White

The red crosses on the pale surcoats recall the well-known imagery of the Knights Templar. The Teutonic Order is not a fitting comparison here, as its emblem is a black cross on a white ground. The design of the tankard nonetheless remains a decorative medieval interpretation and should not be understood as an exact reconstruction of any particular historical knightly equipment.
