A Medieval Nasal Helmet with Visible Chainmail Coif

This type of nasal helmet was worn in the High Middle Ages. The helmets were relatively large, so that additional layers underneath – such as padding – could serve as protection. On this decorative knight's helmet, a chainmail coif can also be seen. The small decorative helmet of a brave knight is made of carefully hand-painted polyresin. It is 9 cm tall, 8 cm wide and 9 cm deep. The "Helm of the Valiant" will surely delight every brave knight, big and small, as a gift as well.

An Armour Miniature for Display Cabinet and Medieval Collection

With a footprint of about 8 × 9 cm, "Helm of the Valiant" can be displayed on a narrower shelf, a desk or among other armour miniatures. A frontal view brings out the vertical nasal guard, while the side view shows more of the recreated chainmail coif. Together with other small helmet forms, it builds into a collection in which different types of medieval headgear can be compared.
