A Reading Fairy with Outspread Bat Wings

When, long, long ago, she had to pass through the gate into the underworld and into the realm of the dark fairies, she could not take even a single one of her books with her. How happy she was when, in the secret library, she happened upon a mysterious book of long-hidden verses. In her black-and-pink Victorian frilled dress, her black stockings and her high black lace-up boots, the little Gothic fairy stands on a rock with the book in her hands and seems to be learning the verses by heart. Her bat wings are spread wide, as if she had only just landed on the rock. With her delicate face, her white-blonde hair falling in long waves far over her shoulders, and her concentrated expression, this Gothic fairy figurine "Hidden Verses" is simply enchanting to behold.

The 27 cm tall, 17.5 cm wide and 11 cm deep Gothic fairy figurine "Hidden Verses" is made of carefully hand-painted polyresin. Its bat wings are plugged in separately after unpacking. Thanks to her upright posture and wide pair of wings, the figurine makes a striking eye-catcher in a display cabinet, on a sideboard or beside a book collection.

A Gothic Fairy for Reading and Fantasy Fans

"Hidden Verses" is a particularly good fit for a bookshelf, a reading nook or a spot beside editions of dark fairy tales and fantasy novels. The literary motif makes the figurine a fitting gift idea for readers who like to combine Gothic romance, mysterious stories and unusual book decoration.
